Good day Women of Vision members,
My name is Denisa and I am the founder of Women of Vision International and this is my first blog.
As a godly woman most of the times we are reminded to be as the Proverbs 31 woman but in this day and time how easy is it to be a virtuous woman.
Women go through a lot of things, situations and circumstances these days. How easy is it to still maintain the great Proverbs 31 woman. Even I as a married woman face a lot of situations that sometimes I ask myself do I still have the strength.
What makes a woman a virtuous woman? Especially in these days when we pray and things are not going the way we expect it. We might be looking for a loving husband, a good job, children etc. We pray, fast and go to church but things just don't go the way it should go or the way we expect it. What can we do? What needs to be done? What can or should we change? So many questions and sometimes no answers.
Is it possible to look back and think what went wrong. Did we pray when the supposed husband came for marriage or did we hear clearly from God, was it our heart that spoke for us. When it comes to our job did we accept it because that's just the job that you want to do because of the high salary, or because others are doing the job and you want to belong.
I also have made mistakes that later on I thought is this really what God want for me. Life is not easy but thankfully we have God by our side to overturn our wrongs or our mistakes.
This forum is to bring women together were we have a safe place to show our emotions and to let go of all that is disturbing or bothering us. A place were we can speak our fears and mind without being judged.
I will stop here for now. As I always say someone testimony can be another person answered prayer.
